London (UEL) is a modern dynamic university at
the forefront of academic innovation. Wtih
approximately 12,000 students UEL is lively place
to study, and has campuses in Docklands, Barking
and Straford. UEL enjoys a well earned reputation
for both research and teaching. The mission of
the University is to provide the highest possible

consultancy, in order to meet the needs of
individuals, communities and enterprises in the
region.
This is a graduate
conversion course and is designed to allow
graduates from other disciplines to achieve a
professionally recognised computing
qualification. The course is directed at the
implementation of information systems and their
effects on
business organisations.
No computing qualification is needed for those
entering the course. The pace of instruction
rapidly accelerates and students are expected to
underpin their studies with intense private study
and practical effort.
Students undertake four units in each of two
semesters at the STM campus (Postgraduate Diploma
in Information Technology) followed by a
dissertation for four months.

Entry requirements
Applicants will be admitted to the course on the
basis of the following criteria:

Bachelors degree in a non
computing subject from a recognised University
(equivalent to UK Bachelors degree)

Non UK degrees should be
first class degrees with be at least three years
in duration.

Applicants with relevant
management work experience ( min 25 yrs old )
may be considered with an appropriate
professional qualifications and / or second
class Bachelors degree.
