This course spans the computing and electronics area and focuses on the application of computer technology and computer systems in an engineering environment. The structure of the programme develops both a broadening of subject knowledge combined with an in-depth study of computer systems applied to Engineering disciplines.

Students undertake two units in each of two semesters at the STM campus (Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Systems Engineering) followed by a project for four months dissertation at UEL (Universtiy of East London).

Entry requirements

Applicants will be admitted to the course on the basis of the following criteria:

  • Bachelors degree in a non computing subject from a recognised University (equivalent to UK Bachelors degree)

  • Non UK degrees should be first class degrees with be at least three years in duration.

  • Applicants with relevant management work experience ( min 25 yrs old ) may be considered with an appropriate professional qualifications and / or second class Bachelors degree.
