Liverpool John Moores
University (LJMU) is a thriving, contemporary,
vibrant university located at the heart of one of
the most exciting cities in the UK and one of the
most famous in the world. LJMU traces its roots
back to 1825. Since then, LJMU has continued to
grow from strength to strength, and now has over
24,000 students from all over the world. The
University has played a vital role in the
cultural renaissance of Liverpool and has taken
an active part in the regeneration of the city.
Recently Liverpool was selected as the European
Capital of Culture 2008.
LJMU is the UK's top university for teaching and
research in sports and exercise sciences. It runs
programmes which have been developed with leading
corporate giants like Ford, IBM, Lucas Industries
and Jaguar. The University operates one of
Europe's largest educational computer networks.
LJMU is top of the league in the UK for teaching
in applied social work, health studies,

Survey results show that 94% of LJMU graduates
are in employment or undertaking postgraduate
study within six months of graduating. LJMU has
hosted guest lectures by some of the most famous

STM ( a division of London School of Commerce-LSC)
has a collaborative partnership with Liverpool
John Moores University (LJMU) allowing students
to gain an internationally recognised
qualification, MBA. This programme combines
rigorous academic disciplines with management
skills to give participants the confidence to
thrive in their careers long into the future. It
gives an understanding of all aspects of
business.
Students gain two qualifications at the end of
this programme, a Postgraduate Diploma in
Business Administration from STM and an MBA
degree from Liverpool John Moores University.
On successful completion of the first 2
semesters, students will be awarded a
Postgraduate Diploma from STM. Students will then
obtain credits to proceed to the final phase of
the MBA programme.
