EDUCATION
FOR THE GLOBAL GENERATION
Since it was established in Singapore and Malaysia in 1950,
Stamford College has built a reputation for providing high quality
education in the ASEAN region.
Stamford International University, Hua Hin campus was established as
a joint effort between Thailand and Malaysia combining the highest
standards of an all - English Language education with a modern and
innovative curriculum based upon the finest international
educational systems.
Stamford International University (STIU) was founded by a 14
February 2000 academic collaboration agreement between Stamford
International University and Schiller International University of
the United States. Schiller International University is a fully
accredited university in Florida, and also has campuses in
England, France, Germany, Spain and Switzerland. The main
objective of the agreement was to provide Thai and international
students at Stamford Hua Hin an international standard of
education and an opportunity to study in any of the 8 campuses of
Schiller in Europe and the United States, through study abroad
programs offered under the student exchange agreement between the
two institutions.
The international curriculum has been designed to prepare the
students to meet the challenges of a globalized business
environment. Credits can be transferred to colleges and
universities at the undergraduate and post graduate levels
worldwide.
The Stamford Campus is comprised of 6 uniquely designed buildings for academic and residential purposes.
Stamford International
University is set on more than 100 rai of natural beauty overlooking mountains and the Gulf of Thailand. It stands as
part of the Palm Hills Golf Resort and includes an 18-hole championship golf course, clubhouse and large country club with variety of indoor and outdoor sports. Stamford is just 168 kilometers, or a two-hour drive from Rama 9 Suspension Bridge in Bangkok.
The campus, coupled with the splendor of the Green Mountains and the panoramic landscape, offers a superb environment in which to learn, to recreate, and to grow. The three-story administrative building houses most of the
university administrative facilities including
Academic Affairs Office, Student Affairs Office, faculty offices, Vice President and President offices, Health Center, and classrooms. The Library and Academic Resource Center, mini-store/university bookstore, restaurant, and lounge areas are situated on the ground floor. The two Sound Labs and
