Master Degree Program:

Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Stamford International University offers a graduate program leading to the Masters of Business Administration Degree. The curriculum is multifunctional, integrated one which stresses application of modern business theories to the solution of problems confronting modern-day administrators.

This course is offered at STIU Bangkok Academic Centre.

Objectives

  • Provide broader perspectives needed for managers to effectively manage changes in a globally interdependent, diverse world;

  • Enable students to effectively apply their knowledge to tackle completed problems faced by managers today;

  • Create a strong sense of ethics, professionalism, and social responsibility in business practices;

  • Equip students with strong communication skills to compete both locally and internationally.

Admission Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with good grades

Program Requirements

To complete a MBA degree, the candidate needs to fulfill 48 credit hours with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 Credits earned at other institutions with a B grade or better may be transferred with the consent of the program director. The maximum number of transferable credits are nine.

Candidates are required to choose one of the following options:

Option A - Thesis Option

The candidates must complete 33 credit hours of core requirements, three credit hours of elective course, and a thesis of 12 credit hours.

Option B - Non-Thesis Option

The candidate must complete 33 credit hour of core requirements and 15 credit hours of elective course.

Duration of the Program :

Total of 18 months. Students wish to transfer to Schiller International University or London City College, will have to complete 2 semesters at STIU.
