The Business
Administration programme has been designed to
provide you with an opportunity to develop
further the knowledge and skills of business, and
options to specialise in areas that particularly
interest you. In this programme, you will have
developed the industry-practical skills and
knowledge of business necessary to prepare you
for an increasingly competitive employment
market.
If you already hold Diploma in Business
Administration (2nd year) and have ambitions to
advance to the final year honours degree in
Business Administration, this programme is your
answer. The honours degree programme should help
you develop your academic potential and increase
your employment creditability.
The main themes of the degree are business
planning, strategic management, human resource
management and entrepreneurship.
You will be exposed to academic and theoretical
approach to analyse a variety of organisations to
examine their context in contemporary society;
and study their interaction with employers,
employees and consumers.
The university houses the Centre for Knowledge
Management, dedicated to researching knowledge
management concepts in an organisational context.
Strategic Change and Human Resource Management
are major areas of interest at the university.
