study of business studies has emerged as one of
the most dynamic areas in higher education.

The aims of this programme include the
opportunity to develop a variety of cognitive,
practical and social skills that will enhance
both their employability and capacity for post
graduate study. Students are encouraged to take
responsibility for their academic and
professional profiles by selecting elective areas
of study in their final year. This programme has
been designed to offer the student flexibility in
managing their own learning, based on their
individual interests, aspirations, goals and
personal development needs.
What can I do when I graduate?
In order to progress to further study, you will
need to achieve 60 credits and a GPA of 2.0 in
your final examinations to progress onto the MSc
in International Business. This qualification may
entitle you to transfer to programmes leading to
Higher Diploma (level 8) or programmes leading to
Masters Degree or Post-graduate Diploma (level 9)
at other Irish and international universities and
colleges.

the knowledge skills and competencies gained on
