How do I apply to the University/Institution?
You need to fill the admission application form and submit it along with a copy of all you documents.Namtech will forward your application to the respective University / Institution and get you an offer from them. You can download the relevant admission application form our website or contact us to get one.
What documents do I need to send to the university along with my application form?
You will need to send with your application form the following documents
- 10th Standard Certificate & Mark sheet
- 12th Standard Certificate & Mark sheet
- Degree Certificate & Mark sheets
- If you have completed your Bachelors, you will need to attach your 1st year, 2nd Year & 3rd year Mark sheets.
- If you have completed your Bachelors in Engineering or Law, you will need to attach all 4 Year Mark sheets.
- If you have completed your Masters Degree then you will need to attach both your 1st year as well as 2nd year Mark sheets
- Provisional Certificate
- 2 Letters of Reference (LORS) -Two academic reference letters/One academic reference letter and one employment reference letter
- 1 Statement of Purpose (SOP) (Requirement only with few institutions)
- Curriculum Vitae (Requirement only with few institutions)
- Passport Copy (First and Last page only)
- Work Experience Letter
- If GMAT /GRE has been done, Scorecard need to be attached
- If IELTS/TOEFL has been done, grade sheet needs to be attached.
What is the ideal time to start my application process?
The admission process for any overseas university/ institution is lengthy and if you add the time taken for processing the visa then ideally one should start the application process at least 2 months prior to the intake date.
How do I find out which University/Institution offers courses I am interested in?

Is IELTS a mandatory prerequisite for admission in UK?
IELTS is not mandatory with every University / Institute. It depends on the University / Institute you have applied to. However it is better that one writes either IELTS or TOEFL as it helps not only to get into premier institutes but also helps in the visa process.
Are GRE/GMAT & TOEFL are mandatory for US admissions?
It is advisable to have GRE/GMAT & TOEFL when you apply for any US institution. However, many of them waive these based on certain conditions.
Do I have to pay a deposit before applying for the visa?
Most of the institutions insist on students paying a certain amount of deposit or first semester’s fee before they send the visa letter, which is important to apply for the visa. The deposit also helps to reserve your place in the university.
How much is the amount of deposit that I need to pay?
It depends on the University / Institution. For institutions in UK, It ranges from £ 3000 to £ 6000, which covers the tuition fee for one semester to one year.
What am I likely to earn if I take a part-time job while at University?
As a student visa holder in the UK, you are allowed to work up to 20 hours a week during term time and 40 hours a week during holidays. You can earn £ 4 and above per hour depending on the kind of job and location. This can cover a small percentage of your expenses. However, while applying for your visa, you must show evidence of full financial support from other sources to cover university/institution tuition and living costs. Students are always advised not to depend on part time jobs for their living expenses.

What is the average time taken for visa processing ?
Most of the embassis takes around 3-4 weeks for processing and giving decision from the date of application. Ireland, Switzerland, France, Germany & Spain visa process takes longer (4-6 weeks)
What is the duration for Masters Program?
The duration of the Master’s program depends on the University / Institution but it is generally between 12 months – 24 months duration.
What is the duration for Bachelors Program?
The duration is mostly 3 years in Europe and 4 years in USA.
What is the cost of Living in UK?
As per the new visa rules you must show living expenses for the first year of your course. The amount of which depends on where the university/institution you have chosen to attend is located. If it is in Inner London Burroughs then it is £7200 per annum and if it is in Outer London Burroughs then it is around £5400.
