| 2. FARES AND TICKETING Levels 1 and 2
|

These courses are particularly appropriate for people who intend to work or are currently working within Travel Agencies or Airline operations in the UK. Each level requires students to attend one day a week over six (6) weeks. The
Diplomas are awarded by Air transport Training, and are IATA recognised.

- Air Travel Level 1 : The course involves issuing tickets and constructing scheduled IATA Airline fares. It is designed to meet the specifications of the Certificate of Travel Agency Competence v COTAC Air Travel Level 1 and carries a
value of 10 points in the IATA Licensing System.
- Air Travel Level 2 : This programme has been designed to enable staff to calculate multi-sector fares, using the principles of the IATA Mileage System, thus achieving the IATA License Standard value of 20 points.

Duration of Course : Each level requires students to attend one day a week over six weeks. The examinations are taken on the final day. Students may study just one level if they wish or follow both levels.

| 3. DIPLOMA IN TRAVEL AND TOURISM MANAGEMENT
|

The Diploma is designed to prepare students for ultimately undertaking a management position in any area of the Travel and Tourism industry. It also provides students with the skills and knowledge necessary for starting and operating a
travel and tourism business.

| Entry Requirements: |
- Certificate in Travel and Tourism or
- A qualification equivalent to the Certificate of Travel & Tourism acceptable to the ICM or
- Evidence of a minimum of 3 years relevant experience for students 23 years of age or over
