The course is designed to provide students
with a body of knowledge which will enable them to appreciate the different types of
business organisations, as well as the critical functions within a business. Practical
situations are highlighted through case-studies, video presentations, group discussions
and practical assignments in order to allow students to appreciate different business
settings and identify the importance of critical planning and control management
techniques.

This course is designed to develop further
the knowledge accumulated at the Diploma level. It concentrates on strategic and corporate
issues and it will provide students with an international perspective through the analysis
of a variety of case-studies.

- Diploma in Business Administration of London City College,
or
Degree in Business or related subjects, or
- Diploma in International Marketing or Importing and
Exporting of ICM, or

limited or no academic qualifications who, nevertheless, realise that their future
prospects depend on the completion of a formal course of study.

- 2 GCSEs/GCEs for students 17 to 21, or
- Evidence of one year's commercial experience for students 21
years of age or over.

| 2. DIPLOMA IN BUSINESS
STUDIES |

The course is designed to provide
business and management students with a body of knowledge which will increase their
employment opportunities and offer them a recognised qualification which will allow them
to pursue further studies. LCC offers the course in two levels. Upon successful completion
of both levels, students will be issued with the Diploma in Business Studies, of the
Institute of Commercial Management (ICM).
