Undergraduate Programs:
BSc (Honours) Computing (Awarded by University of
Wales)
The
overall aim of this course is to progress to
graduate status in a broad-based and generic
computing programme rather than a specialist, and
possibly restrictive, programme. There is an
increasing demand from employers, especially in
small/medium sized organizations for staff with
wide ranging skills and the ability to manage
small projects often involving database systems
and web sites.
Team-work and communication skills are also high
on the “needs” list. The units for this programme
have been designed to give just such an
experience. The workshop and project units are
excellent vehicles for students to gain
development and project management experience as
well as team -working and communication skills.
